Neil Berg Showcases THE TWELVE at the World Famous China Club in New York City January 13
Hey All,
I am very excited to invite everyone to to be involved in this new creation of mine known as THE TWELVE.
I have been developing this rock / theater concept for several years, and am finally ready to debut it.
What a cast!
Men: Lawrence Clayton (from Jesus Christ Superstar, Dreamgirls, etc). Rob Evan (from Jekyl
and Hyde,
Tarzan, TSO, Les Miserables, etc). Michael Lanning (from Civil
War,
TSO, voice over genius, etc) and Danny Zolli (from Jesus Christ Superstar).
Women: Aisha de Haas (from Rent, Dreamgirls, etc) Patti Russo (from Meatloaf's band, TSO,
Queen, and We Will Rock You, etc, resident rock star!)
Band:
Alex Skolnick, Guitar
Neil Berg, Piano
Roger Cohen, Drum
Dave Baron, Bass
Greg Lykins, Guitar
This will be an 90-minute concert presentation at the world famous CHINA CLUB, on 47th Street in NYC. We will have a six-piece, kick-ass rock band. Frank Fagnano will
be our sound engineer. Rehearsals start the week of January 7th.
The primary reason for this event is to showcase THE TWELVE for the APAP convention (presenters from around the country). But this is also open to the public!
My producing partner from my national tour (and dear friend) Adam Friedson is teaming up with me on this and he is incredible! He has been a producer of many shows on
Broadway, including Gross Indecencies, Bill Maher, Dame Edna, etc and the upcoming HisStory. He will have many
industry presenters there.
This will be a FREE event, and the China Club can hold about 400-500 people. Tell everyone to come! It is a club, so standing room mostly (very limited seating in the
very back).
To make reservations, people can e-mail Makayla in my office at:
mbactor1@aol.com
If people have questions about the show, DO NOT call the China Club. Call Makayla Bishop during business hours (10:30 am - 5:30 pm) at my office: 845-353-2407.
It will be first come, first in, so the earlier people arrive, the better. There will be a cash bar where people can order drinks. NO minimum, no tricks, no food, just
a great night! We just want to pack the place.
Sunday, January 13
Doors open at 6:30pm.
Showtime: 7:15 (which will really be closer to 7:30)
CHINA CLUB
268 West 47th Street
New York NY 10036
Thank you in advance for what I know is going to be a thrilling event!
Happy Thanksgiving and much love!
Neil Berg
